Our Evolution: In 2010, RockaRho Publishing (2004 - 2009) was re-named RockaRho Media Group, Inc., to articulate our ever-evolving focus on collaborative visual narratives. Our continued pursuit of storytelling using rich media (still images, video, audio and words) and our documentary aesthetic allows us to meet our clients’ needs in a captivating and engaging manner.

Bi-plane

We believe in the power of the image as a compelling and effective tool in motivating mass audiences to think, believe, get involved, and act.

Victoria Arocho represents the culmination of many thousands of hours spent shooting in the field, observing and strategizing for success.

National Guard

Victoria embarked on a visually focused path at age six. She received her undergraduate degree in photography at Rochester Institute of Technology and her master’s degree in electronic publishing and printing technology, also from RIT. Sailboat

For eight and a half years, Victoria worked as a staff photographer for the Associated Press.Victoria honed her craft and studied human nature across the country, often amid chaos, always under deadline pressure, sometimes running backwards and often face-to-face with those who had been betrayed.

Olympics
Among Victoria’s more challenging assignments were the Summer Olympics in Sydney; Hurricane Mitch in Honduras; the 2003 Raid on the Narragansett Indian Smoke Shop in Charlestown, R.I., Ground Zero and the 2000, 2004 and 2008 presidential elections.
